How to Get Your Oregon Carry Permit

NOTE: You DO NOT have to qualify with a firearm to apply for a carry permit in Oregon.

·        Must be an Oregon resident or live in a bordering state (Washington, Idaho, Nevada or California) NOTE: If you’re from one of these states, you need to check with counties in Oregon to see if they will grant you a permit.

·        Take our carry permit course online.

·        Once you pass the written test, you’ll print off a certificate you use as training proof.

·        Applications must be filed with the Sheriff of the county of residence.
